Vacant Committee Positions

Springwood United Football Club relies on strong support from club volunteers to ensure the club gets it’s near 1200 players on the pitch each and every weekend.

In 2025 there are a couple of positions that need filling so we can start planning for the new season ahead.

Football Manager

The Football Manager role is currently un-filled for the 2025 season. This is an important role at the Club that oversees all of our committee members, bringing them together at monthly meetings to ensure that everyones areas of responsibility is being managed and organised as we move through the various stages of the season.
There is no doubting the Football Manager role is a big role of the Club but it is made all the more manageable when all other positions on the Football Committee are filled and active, engaged and keen volunteers help to ensure their areas of responsibility are managed and tasks completed.

Registrar (Paid Position - Vacant in 2026)

The Club Registrar Role is currently vacant and will needs to be filled ASAP in order to prepare the Registrar for next season. The Club would very much like to lock in a person for this role prior to the Christmas School Holiday break.

This is an important and busy role for a Committee member and integral to the start of every season and as suck it is a Paid Position that remunerates the Registrar from December through to July and is a great casual job for someone looking to re-enter the workforce or secure part time work that is fairly flexible in nature.

Female Football Co-Ordinator

This position is vacant and in need of filling ASAP.

Volunteers Co-Ordinator

The Volunteers Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the activities of our volunteer base. A new role at SUFC, this role includes ensuring that SUFC has adequate committee members rostered on for Park Duty for game day/nights during the football season. This role will also support the Canteen Manager with the BBQ/Canteen roster to ensure coverage in the Canteen and BBQ on game day/nights. If you have experience or interest in rostering, we would love to hear from you.

General Committee Members

SUFC is seeking several General Committee Members to support SUFC’s operations during the Football season, as required. This support could include performing Park Duty on game day/nights, attending Football Committee meetings, or any other adhoc duties that may be required for the smooth running of the Club. This is a great opportunity to dip your toes into the SUFC committee to get a feel for what we do and how you could contribute in the future.
