Without the assistance of volunteers, donations from businesses and support of BMCC it would be a difficult task to improve the facilities and maintain the clubhouse, so please join in on appreciating the generosity of many that made the working bee a great weekend.

Craig Golby of Prestige Metal Roofing Pty Ltd donated all materials and labour to install new guttering and downpipes on the front of the clubhouse and remove the old guttering and downpipes.

Dulux donated the paints used for the clubhouse and ladies toilets as well as some additional paint for future works.

Both of these donations equated to a large saving of the clubs (members) funds for the long overdue replacement of the guttering/downpipes and painting of the clubhouse.

Thank you Craig and Dulux for your generous donations, these contributions made a big impact to improve the facilities.

Thanks to Mark Barton for getting into the toilets and change rooms with his petrol driven industrial pressure washer that could have taken the roof off a bomb shelter.

Thank you BMCC for allowing club colours to be splashed across the front of the clubhouse. As a club we need to work with BMCC to strive for improved facilities at Summerhayes Park, it’s good to have the support of BMCC and continue to forge a strong partnership for the benefit of the members and community.

Finally, Thank You to the club members, committee members and families that attended and volunteered their time throughout the weekend, your time and assistance is very much appreciated and your spirit and pride in Springwood United FC is very admirable.
