Springwood United Football club relies on parents and friends of the players to get them on the pitch each week and that goes the same for Coaches and Managers. If you have the desire to coach or manage again in 2018, we would love to hear from you and receive a completed Coaches & Managers Expression of Interest form. EOI forms can be downloaded on the clubs website.

Season 2018 will also see the continuation of the NFA's minimum coaching qualifications roll out.

This means that ALL coaches of Under 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9's will need to have a current FFA Miniroo's Coaching Certificate. There are 13 courses scheduled across the NFA area over the coming months, so don't leave it too late to complete a course. These courses are FREE and go for around 2 hours. The best one to attend would be at Summerhayes Park on Friday 23rd March.

Prospective Coaches of 1st Division teams are required to have a current age appropriate FFA Community Coach Education qualification. These are the Skills Training Certificate for Under 9 - 13's, the Game Training Certificate for Under 13 - 17's and the Senior Coaching Certificate for Under 17's and up (AAW1, Int Men and Womens 1, Premier League). Teams without an appropriately qualified coach will be playing for no points until such time as one is appointed.  

Community Coaching Education courses are being run around the Nepean up until late March. Check out the list of courses and click on the links to register. Note, that all courses shown are fully reimbursed by the club upon completion of 12 months coaching for SUFC *Conditions apply.

Remember: EOI's to Coach, Assistant Coach or Manage at team, must be received by COB Monday 19th February.
