FNSW does not have any visibility as to what Football Federation Australia (FFA) intends to do concerning the National Registration Fee. We have not received communication from the BMCC regarding potential discounts to the BMCC Sports Levy which we are currently discussing via our Sports Council representatives. Both of these Levies also form components of your registration fee.
The Club has not received any Canteen revenue this season and sponsorship opportunities have been impacted. These are two significant revenue streams that assist our Club to pay for end of season Presentation Day(s), uniforms, merchandise, maintenance and the like. Once we have a clearer understanding of how this season will unfold, timeframes we have to work within, what we can provide our members at the end of the season, and if the FFA or BMCC will be applying reductions, we will communicate the final discount and process as to how that will be refunded.
Over the last week, the Committee has been working our way through processing de-registrations and the viability of individual teams. Fortunately, the effect on our Club has been minimal with 3 x Non-Competition teams, 2 x Junior Competition teams, and 1 x Senior Competition team impacted. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Players, Parents Coaches, and Managers who worked with us to find positive outcomes during a challenging process.
