Although restrictions will be lifted on the 1st July in regard to our football activity, Springwood United and Summerhayes Park are still bound by Public Health Orders. This means that the number of people allowed at a venue cannot exceed the 500 per venue limit at any one time. This includes players, coaches, managers, officials, volunteer staff and spectators.
As a result, fixtures have been staggered to accommodate changeover of games and rules have been put in place to ensure that we comply.
Restricted numbers at venues has resulted in teams having to reduce spectator numbers, therefore, attendance will be limited to one spectator per player which includes younger siblings, grandparents and extended family.
For those that do attend, please adhere to social distancing rules and maintain a high level of hygiene. We also ask that you follow any request that may be asked of you by our Committee.
The Club intends to have the Canteen operational serving packaged KIOSK food and drink, however, at this stage we are still subject to approval. We will communicate the Canteen’s operation as soon as possible. The BBQ will not be in operation for the foreseeable future.
Information regarding team and game management will be communicated directly to all Age Coordinators, Coaches and Managers within the next 24hrs who will contact their player group, parents and careers to communicate the additional game day information.
Attendance registers are to continue for game day. Please assist your Coach and Manager by making them aware of your attendance.
The Club also requests that Parents/Carers and other club members not attend training or matches, if in the past 14 days if they have:
- been unwell or had any flu-like symptoms;
- been in contact with a known or suspected case of COVID-19;
- experienced any sudden loss of smell or loss of taste; or
- are at a high risk from a health perspective, including the elderly and those with pre-existing medical heath conditions.
Please check the NSW Government website for advice regarding the full list of symptoms associated with COVID-19 infection:

Members are also encouraged to download and use the CovidSafeApp.
We look forward to seeing football being played at Summerhayes Park.
