As we enter the last few weeks of the season, we have managed to play out a regular season, the one major difference to that of previous seasons, is there will be no Finals Series or Grand Final opportunity for competition teams. This has been the rationale behind our decision.
The discount includes the 5% reduction received from Football NSW and the exclusion of the Blue Mountains City Council (BMCC) Player Levy which was not charged by the BMCC for season 2020.
The refund process and distribution of the individual player funds will be managed by the Club in consultation with team Managers. This process will be communicated to you in the coming weeks and finalised before the final day of the season.
Although we will not be able to hold a traditional Presentation Day this season, the Football Committee is in the process of organising an opportunity for the Club to acknowledge our Competition winners and recipients of Club awards and achievements. Player participation and team awards will be distributed to Coaches and Managers to hand out to their players. This process will also be communicated over the coming weeks.
Thank you for all your patience, understanding, and compliance since football resumed at Summerhayes in early July. Your cooperation and support have ensured that football has continued in what has been a very trying year.
Regards
Springwood United FC, Management Committee
