Ground Conditions – Summerhayes Park
Summerhayes Park remains closed and requires significant time to dry out in preparation for mowing, rolling and line marking. The current ground conditions and forecast rainfall in the coming weeks could see Summerhayes not being fit for matches until late April.
Teams are reminded to not train on fields or in goal mouths despite them being mown or rolled, until the clubs website shows that fields are ready for club use.
Mini Roo’s Teams U5 to U7's & Lyrebirds
Our Mini Roo’s schedule which was set to kick off on 2nd April will be suspended until Summerhayes Park is reopened and ground preparations are completed. Unfortunately games cannot be relocated to other grounds. The same will apply to our Football 4 All program's Lyrebirds team.
The committee hope to host some mid-week make up matches throughout the season.
Small Sided Football Teams U8 – U11's
With the NFA postponing Round 1 of the season, scheduled matches for our U8 to U11 teams will be a week-to-week proposition as Nepean FA will attempt to reschedule matches and move games to away grounds and neutral venues if they are available.
Further information specific to your age group will be forward via age co-ordinators, your coaches and managers.
