Hello to all our female players, parents and family members for 2024.
To ensure the smooth delivery of football to our Junior Female Footballers this year the club requires someone to be the Junior Female Football Coordinator (JFPC), supporting and looking after our U8 to U16 players.
The JFPC is responsible for coordinating, representing and liaising with Coaches and Managers from the teams within the junior girls age groups and helping with the delivery of club communications to the membership.

This important role must be filled before junior female teams can take to the field this season.
The JFPC will interact with all levels of the SUFC Management Committee (MC), the Football Committee (FC), age co-ordinators and coaches and managers of the junior female teams. Other tasks associated with this role include;
- Help facilitate Junior Female Muster Day/Evenings (normally early February for U8 to U10 teams) and assist forming teams of players.
- Attend and participate in Coaches and Managers information sessions as required;
- Act as the Point of Contact for all parents and team leaders within the female teams U8– U16 Girls age groups;
- Ensure Coach & managers are aware of the process for upgrading of players between teams when required;
- Assist in coordinating and participate in activities and events associated to SUFC – such as Female Come & Try Days, Female Football Week Activities etc.
- Communicate all relevant Club related activities to the junior female teams Coaches and Managers as required;
- Ensure team know what is required for field set up and pack up each week;
- Be available to assist with ground control/events on a voluntary basis;
- Attend and report on activities of the portfolio at monthly Football Committee Meetings.
- in conjunction with the Senior Female Player Coordinator foster an environment to assist players in their transition from junior to senior football;
- assist if required on disciplinary matters within teams or with Coaches, Managers, Members.
- Ensure that all Coaches and Managers have a clear understanding of the correct completion of Dribl to minimise financial impacts to the Club.
- Work with Female Football Sub-Committee to bring to life plans for female football in the future at SUFC.
