Springwood United FC will have over 1060 players registered and 94 teams all enthusiastic and ready to play this year and the Club thanks you for your patience as we finalise the last few remaining logistical issues before the start of the season.

Saturday saw the Club host another successful Andrew Harrop & Paul Bryden Cup charity event to start the year raising money for the Springwood Hospital Palliative Care Unit. Congratulations to all involved.

The season is planned to kick off on the weekend 15th to 17th March with our Mini Roos starting round one and some teams hopefully getting a trial match in before Round 1 of the season starts the following weekend for our competition and senior teams.

Please review the updated Calendar that has been posted on the website and refer to that for any changes in the build up to the season. Remember to closely monitor your DRIBL applications as we have Easter and school holidays effecting schedules in the first month of the season.

Our Ruby and Waratah premiere league teams have been training and playing trial matches at away venues, but keep your eyes out for fixtures as teams compete in the Australia Cup as well in March.

The Football Committee has grown with a Female Football Sub Committee who are dedicated to the development and promotion of Female Football in the club and beyond. Please look out for Female Football Week and other events. Especially with the Matilda's heading to the Paris Olympics.

At the start of the season my thanks goes to every volunteer, regardless of your role in making football happen, you are an integral part of our football community. Your contributions are invaluable, and they don't go unnoticed. We are incredibly grateful for your commitment to supporting our players and ensuring a successful season.

Our club is passionate about nurturing a love for football in our young and more mature players, and we're always looking for individuals who share this passion and want to be a part of our vibrant football community.

Whether you're a seasoned coach, a parent with some football knowledge, or simply someone who enjoys the spirit of the game, we have opportunities for you to get involved!
