Information regarding Fines for 2024
It is understood that coaches and managers are all volunteers like the people on the Football and Management committee. Like the committee members Coaches and Managers have an obligation to not impact the club financially by avoidable errors.
Unfortunately Dribl fines came to over $2000 in 2023 and much of the costs could not be recovered from the teams involved. The club cannot afford to have this financial burden without having to raise the player fees and therefore the Management Committee has had to review the policy on fine payment listed in the By-Laws of the club.
3.10. All fines relating to red/yellow card, match sheet errors, forfeits are to be covered by the incurring player/team unless otherwise supported by the Football Committee and approved by the Management Committee.
Starting in 2024 all fines occurred arising from an error in uploading the correct data into the Dribl App by the coaches, managers must be paid by the team.
Any fines invoiced to the Finance Officer by Nepean Football Association will be passed onto the team for payment. If a team wishes to contest the fine they will need to do so within 48 hours of receiving the invoice by providing a screen shot of the completed Dribl App from the day.
Unfortunately failure to pay the fine within 14 days of invoice receipt will result in the team being suspended from playing until the fine is paid. The suspension will result in forfeit costs, and referee costs for competition teams.
The forfeit costs are:
Competition team forfeiting - Fine $100;
Non competition team forfeiting - Fine $25
Summerhayes Park - Ground Closure Status
BMCC is concluding some ground maintenance in the last few weeks before the season begins. Summerhayes Park will be closed for this coming week and is set for review next week. All coaches and managers are reminded to abide by ground closure notifications and to monitor the Clubs website for updates. Please help us get the grounds ready as best as we can for the season ahead.
We look forward to seeing you at the meeting on Wednesday or Thursday and working together to make this season a success!
