Goal Post, Portable Goals and Field Set Up
Setting up of our goals and equipment is an important part of our game day tasks and must be set up promptly and correctly to ensure equipment is set up safely, correctly and that games commence on time.
Please review this information if you are on "Set Up" for any of our fields or at the end if you are the last game for the day, see ways you can assist to 'Pack Up' after a day of football at Summerhayes Park.
Field 1 Net Set Up
Use poles, U pegs as well as spiked bars to hold down all sections of the net
A ball should not be able to pass underneath the netting along all 3 sides
Small Sided U8 - U12 Portable Goals Set Up
Goals must be held down with 4 x U Pegs in locations as shown above
Mini Roos Goals Pack Up
The Club is trialing a new location for our U7 to U12 Portable Goals along the fence line of Field 2, north of the Grand Stand.
There is a chain and padlock that can be used to secure the goals to the Field 2 boundary fence.
Members are asked to carefully return goals to this location at the end of each days play and leave them ready to be secured by a Committee Member.
Keys to unlock the padlock are available from the Canteen or a Committee Member upon request.
Place Goals in order of U7/8's (all plastic) then the U9-U12's (metal cross bars)
Please lock the goals up as per the method below.

Members and the Community are asked to monitor the Council website for ground status during poor weather or while off-season maintenance is undertaken and avoid areas under repair.
